Where We Are
Cal Tonet, in Masia Esperança, is a small boarding house located on the plains of the Urgell comarca.
The site is ideal for a peaceful stay, but there are also villages nearby where one finds loads of good stuff to pass the time away: Tàrrega, Balaguer, Mollerussa, Bellpuig, and, why not, Lleida.

When the Lleida Canal was dug up in the 19th century, the lands that had traditionally been used for dry farming began to be irrigated. This brought about an increase in the local population, as well as economic and social improvements that came to a peak early in the 20th century.
