Visiting the magnificent Romanic church of Santa Maria de los Socorros, dated between the 12th and 13th centuries, with a beautiful entrance gate in the Lleidatan school style; walking through the paved streets and under the arcades of the main plaza; admiring the old tower of Almenara; or paying a visit to the Espacio Guinovart (museum dedicated to the avant-garde painter, dearly loved by the people of Agramunt)-these are the main cultural activities Agramunt has to offer.
And for dessert, the famous turrón factories can be ogled from inside… With a bit of luck and good timing you may even get to savour these typical nougats if you make it to the Turrón and Chocolate Fair held at Piedra d'Agramunt.
